创作背景

　　《寻梦环游记》的导演李·昂克里奇自从2006年看了罗伯特·洛来自佩兹和克里斯汀·安德生-洛佩兹共同创作的音乐剧《海底总动员》后就一直很欣赏他们，李·昂克里奇特邀他们为该部影片创作了《Remember Me》。为了让歌曲的歌词表现出他的重大意义，罗伯特和克里斯汀研究了墨西哥的流行音乐，希望可以写出与Jorge Negrete、Pedro Infante作品风格相似的歌词。他们想把它写成一首“Bolero Ranchero”风格的歌曲或者安静的民谣。克里斯汀想通过该连钱报分镇司首歌有表达对远方人的思念，并希望歌词能够从字面上带给人们活力 。
