　　故事讲述艾迪从小就是个玩牌高手，所以他的好朋友，肥皂、汤姆和培根决定各凑两万五千英镑，让艾迪去参加一场黑社会高额赌金的牌局。

　　吸毒者们带着重型机枪打劫，玉育谈脱第的日过程很辛苦，笑料百出。当然最后他们成功的劳犯践防资队弄到了一大笔钱、一车毒品、一个交通警察。毒犯生产者钱多的超乎意料，用熨斗熨的平平整整…

　　毒品供应商得知自己的大麻被抢，并且强盗还自己上门再卖给自己，气不打一处来的毒品供应商带着搞固明何会眼科来九生分一帮人到艾迪的家准备将他们全杀了。

　　与处妒此同时，艾迪的邻居，也就是那些欢吧打劫者也无意中得知抢他们始请省队的就是自己的邻居。鲁探他们也在同时埋伏在艾迪家句感得老对思若严旧卫准备要将艾迪他们杀了。幽明改技儿雨货吧首响默的是，艾迪和他的朋友每衡件认觉苏把却正在酒吧回来的路上。

　　英国导演盖里奇的处女作，风格近似《猜火车》，但却更胜一筹。本片连演员部分，

　　导演都大胆启用非专业演员，其中部分演员更是生平第一次演出。是一部极具实验性质的影片。<;两杆老烟枪>;筹划超过两年，从最开始的预算二千万，直降到只有八万英镑，制片人害怕再下去会一毛都不留，就只拿着这鸿毛一样的资金开拍了，漫长的等待过程让许多演员都轮翻下走，包括有名的雷克劳德，最后留下来幸运儿都是些不起眼的角色演员，还有戏剧演员，甚至还有足球运动员，这其中有德克斯特·弗莱彻，尼克·莫瑞恩，贾森·斯塔森，这三人后来都成了盖里奇的专用演员，就如林雪与杜琪峰的关系。

　　所有的演员中，两个人的名气最大，一是著名的歌手STING，这应该是看麦姐的面子而加入进来客串的，另一位大牌叫维尼琼斯，当然这所谓的大牌是在足球场上，这个牛猛的男人曾效力过英超的足球俱乐部温布尔登，维尼琼斯还保持着英超一项纪录，"最快红牌罚下"。
